WEBIf current conditions, which include inflows and irrigation demand, remain steady that would put the lake elevation around 3,234-3,235 feet at the end of the irrigation season. Currently, the lake is dropping an average of three inches per day. Check out daily elevation charts.
WEBThe lakes range in size to less than 1 acre to more than 500 acres and are mostly undeveloped because of their remote location and steep banks that sometimes makes access to the water difficult. In addition to recreational opportunities, the lakes provide habitat for a variety of native and migratory fish and wildlife.
WEBCentral’s lakes cover a total of 35,688 surface acres of water, the basis of associated benefits to recreation and wildlife. Approximately 5,900 acres of land adjacent to Central’s lakes are managed by the NGPC as State Recreation Areas and about 6,800 acres are designated as Wildlife Management Areas.
