WEBJun 27, 2015 · Since zxcvbn is much faster to compute than bcrypt, an attacker only has to do the 100,000 (or wtv) salt-and-hash iterations of a candidate password if the zxcvbn scores match exactly. This is a HUGE advantage to the attacker. For a bcrypt-hashed password, how much of an advantage would this give the attacker? Can this be quantified?
